Tis that time of year when we divide our gardening attentions between our home property and the community garden at our dear friends’ house. Something so lovely about sharing a growing space and watching the little ones run about in their bare feet harvesting goodies…even when some of the goodies should have been left in the ground for another month to grow a bit bigger.
I’ve been experimenting around with the gallery setting on my new blogging setup. I think I like it.
To view the gallery just click on a photo and then press play or navigate through the pictures manually.

So, so, so beautiful! I love this post!
ps I don’t see you on my linkup. Should I add you? I am so excited about having your lovely post on my blog:))
It should be on there now. Often my computer time is quite limited in the mornings with the kiddos. Interruptions are frequent :)
Beautiful!
Thanks for sharing your link. I love how your kids get to explore two gardens. And with friends. Enjoy!
Love the 5th picture the best…. such a baby plant!! Love that the kids are enjoying it just as much as the big kids. :) (Oh yeah…Nice gallery setting!)
Gorgeous, yet again Amber. I love evenings in our garden, snacking on peas or broccoli or strawberries. Pulling the ever present weeds. Seeking out the edible treasures that will be ready to share in days to come. That anticipation for good food from my kids is worth the work alone.
Beautiful garden! We just got carrots in our farm share too, but our flowers are no where as beautiful as yours. I need to take note and get planting for next year.
I love Audrey’s mini-carrot!!! (I am SO glad you can’t see my garden!!!)
Well I’m a bigger fan of weeds than I am of garden vegetables so I’d probably love your ‘been-on-summer-vacation’ garden look :)
summer evenings in the garden are certainly something special aren’t they? we are in the depths of winter down here right now (and i love winter) but your photos have reminded me of those lovely evenings watering and harvesting as the sun goes down… very nice.
