nature walks with the kids: sometimes managing to wild-harvest herbs and take pictures, sometimes just wandering
harvesting lots of wild fruits: blackberries, Oregon grape berries, wild plums
nature hikes with my sweetheart, sans kids
beautiful flowers everywhere: these were taken at a native plant garden
a grounding pad made by a friend and Aaron, which has been allowing me to work on the computer without feeling completely spaced out
lots of garden time with my littles in the sunshine and lots and lots of hugs
making up for lost summer time with finger painting and lots of hose watering now that Gray has his cast off (!!)
the jars of preserves stacking up from all the canning: syrups, jams, and pie filling
piles of repurposed fabric waiting on my desk to be turned into new projects
a new camera to play around with, thanks to my Dad’s pawn shop hunting skills
And you? What things are you feeling grateful for today?
linking up with Sofia’s Ideas {magic of the mundane}

beautiful pictures! your corner of the world seems excessively spoiled by sunshine…
Yes :) It is accompanied by water shortages though…
I love the shot of Audrey eating right from the bush!!! You are right–lots and lots to be grateful for. Honestly, at the moment I’m very selfishly most grateful for airconditioning. Another week of triple digits—and no rain, but enough humidity for it to feel like we’ve just had a thunderstorm.
What kind of camera did Dad find????
A Cannon 450D!!
Beautiful photos! Will be looking into your grounding pad a little more, thanks for the link.
Lovely photos! So nice seeing your babies in the garden!!
Today, I am most grateful for having courage (and a voice) to stand up for something important.
Absolutely stunning photos! I found you through Sofia’s Ideas “Magic of the Mundane”… so much beauty and magic you’ve shared here. Thanks!
Yippee about the cast removal. I bet you and he are loving the return of his freedom. What a beautiful time in your life. Truly so much to appreciate. I am grateful for time to explore a new area of the world with my family. I am grateful for gorgeous national parks and a a pass to explore them all.
I love this gratitude collection of photos and words. You truly are making us see the magic in the mundane day to day things. I especially love the photo of your daughter eating from the plant… I don’t live in an area where such things are possible, so I am pleased to get a glimpse into what “mundane” is for you! ;0
This very moment, I am feeling grateful that my best friend (who went into the ER just 11 days before her wedding is due to take place) should be getting out of the hospital this week, in time to still get married as planned! She gave us quite a scare.
Thank you for this awesome contribution to {Magic of the Mundane}…
