(yes, I was picking blackberries…)
We’re off on a long car trip to Arizona to camp in the mountains and attend the Traditions in Western Herbalism Conference! My parents have kindly loaned us their trailer, which made packing and preparing meals much, much easier. But, don’t worry, we’ll be bringing a tent too for sleeping (at the insistence of Audrey who remembers tent camping with great fondness and excitement).
A long car ride with two young children, the littlest of which woke up with a fever yesterday, has me feeling a bit nervous. But I’m trying to relax and let go and trust that we’ll all arrive eventually and be able to find a bit of magic out in the woods. Nothing better for a summer fever than some “in arms” time outdoors under the trees, I think.
I’ll be back here in this space sometime in the middle of next week with lots of pictures and stories. Until then, I leave you in the lovely hands of some of my favorite bloggers who have kindly agreed to share here during the next few days.
Have a beautiful week!

Have a safe trip!

Have fun! We, too, are making a trip soon. I call it my trip of “flyover states” as we’ll be trekking from Texas up to Wisconsin, then over to Ohio. Should be interesting.
